Cathulhu Pattern

I decided to be punny the other day and make a Cathulhu, which is a cat and Cthulhu hybrid. Ooh, yes. I did just do that. Here's the pattern. :)

-Worsted Weight Yarn. I used Lily Sugar N' Cream Solids in Country Green. (Note: for my amigurumi, I always try to use cotton).
-g hook (or smaller if you prefer a tighter guage)
-safety eyes
-polyfil stuffing
-polyfil beads (I used black eyed peas, which also work!)

sc- single crochet
inc – increase (2 sc in same stitch)
invdec – invisible decrease
ch – chain
sl st – slip stitch
# in parentheses is # of stitches you should have at the end of the round
Repeat from ** five times

1. sl st, ch 2, then 5sc in 2nd ch from hook (5)
2. inc around (10)
3. *1sc in next st, then inc* (15)
4. *2sc in next 2 st, then inc* (20)
5. *3sc in next 3 st, then inc* (25)
6. *4sc in next 4 st, then inc* (30)
7. sc around (30)
8. *4sc in next 4st, then invdec* (25)
9. *3sc in next 3st, then invdec* (20)
10. *2sc in next 2st, then invdec* (15)
11. Add safety eyes here, stuff with polyfil, and FO.

1. sl st, ch 2, then 5sc in 2nd ch from hook (5)
2. inc around (10)
3. *1sc in next st, then inc* (15)
4 - 8. sc around
9. fill with polyfil beads, or beans, etc. Whip stitch to head.

Ears (make 2):
1. sl st, ch 2, 4sc in 2nd ch from hook (4)
2. 1sc, inc, 1sc, inc (6)
3. 2sc, inc, 2sc, inc (8). FO.

Tentacles (make three):
1. sl st, ch 8, 2sc in 2nd chain from hook (aka, an increase).
2. 2sc in every stitch across. Tentacles will curl.
3. FO and stitch to mouth area of head.

Tail (optional):
1. sl st, ch2, 6sc in 2nd ch from hook
2-8. sc around. FO and attach to body.

I'd love to see some finished products!

Feel free to sell the finished project, but don't sell the pattern. People will tell on you and I will be sad, and a sad crocheter is the saddest thing in the world. :c
